Local rule for electric winches

In the official rules there is a MAXIMUM distance between winch and pulley of 150m.

Reducing that to 130m has safety reasons, to protect the tow man (which are there for hand tow) from coming down parachutes of the winches when pulling them down to the pulley.

Such a parachute maybe with metallic rings can cause heavy injuries when it hits a person.

Due to the length of the elastic winch line (260m) compared to the hand tow elastic line (150m) there is no disadvantage of the electric winch.

If somebody thinks he has a disadvantage with electric winch, he is free to use hand tow, even if he does not have tow man, because we will help to join a team where he can fly in.
